Temper Theatre is a London based physical theatre company known for creating bold, visually striking work that explores the complexities of humankind. We are a collaborative company, passionate about pushing creative boundaries and telling stories that connect in meaningful ways to audiences from around the world. We are excited to now be holding open auditions to meet exceptional new performers for multiple projects across 2025.
Requirements:
• Training and professional experience in dance and/or acting, physical theatre, devising
• Excellent proficiency in acting, movement and choreography
• Positive team player with a genuine interest in collaborative making
• A base in London
Availability
Our first project is happening during these dates so we would like to know your availability between:
6th January - 8th February 2025
We are especially interested in meeting those who fit one or more of the following criteria:
• East Asian heritage
• Bilingual speakers
• Puppetry experience
We are committed to creating opportunities for individuals who are underrepresented in the arts. We actively encourage applications from members of the global majority and those who are currently underrepresented across the cultural sector.
FEE:
Our fees will follow the ITC/Equity minimum rates of pay

Please expect to:
• Send a short ident including (name, age, location, do you have a base in London and express why you would like to be involved in a Temper project. No longer than 2 minutes in length)
• Attach relevant reels and CV/spotlight link
• Write a short paragraph about your relevant experience
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Right to work in the UK
• Above the age of 21

AUDITION DATES
Round 1: 21st November
Round 2: TBC (Likely mid December)
Due to the high volume of applications we expect to receive, we may not be able to respond to everyone individually.
